Pepperoni Pizza Monkeybread

My latest obsession has been pull apart-, or monkey-, breads. I don't know why, but they're easy to make, there are endless possibilities, and the end result is always amazing!

Pepperoni Pizza Monkeybread

What you'll need:
2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
4 tbsp butter
2 lbs pizza dough (you can get the store bought pre-made kind in a tube)
6 oz mozzarella, cut into about 48 cubes
48 slices of pepperoni (can use any kind)
2-3 cups of marinara sauce, warmed, for serving with bread

Prep:
Heat garlic and butter over medium heat until the garlic begins to brown. Remove from heat. Lightly brush the inside of a bundt pan (or other oven-safe dish) with the garlic butter.  Pull off large marble sized balls of dough and flatten, top with a slice of pepperoni and a cube of cheese. Wrap dough around pepperoni and cheese, pinching to seal. Lightly brush ball with garlic butter and place inside dish. Repeat until all dough is used. Cover and let sit for about 30 minutes, while preheating oven to 400. Bake for 35 minutes, or until top is very brown. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes. Serve with marinara!
